Shannon McPherson, PT, DPT, LSVT

Prior to joining Dirigo, Shannon has spent the last 10 years in Kennebunk Maine where she focused on the adult orthopedic population. She provided one-on-one care with a patient directed treatment approach. Shannon graduated from Husson University in 2012 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Human Movement Science. She has experience in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions of all ages with a strong background in geriatrics and those with multiple comorbidities. She is LSVT Big certified for the treatment of those with Parkinson's Disease as well as certified in neurological dry needling for pain management & sports rehabilitation. Shannon has been a participant of CrossFit since 2019 and was a collegiate softball and field hockey player. She has participated in many intramural sports leagues and enjoys trying all types of competitive athletics. She believes in the use of hands on treatment and exercise progression to restore mobility and maximize physical fitness.

In her free time Shannon enjoys CrossFit, hiking, offshore fishing, and can be found with her boyfriend, Gregg, and their two dogs Roxanne and Maggie.
